Introduction
Hello all! I'm starting this blog to document my journey to becoming an elementary school teacher. I also mispelled becoming around 4 times in the creation of this blog, so there's a lot of work to be done, clearly. But in all seriousness, I am currently 24, and in an alternative teaching certification program called TeacherReady, on my way to becoming an elementary school teacher here in Escambia County. I've already graduated university with my bachelor's in Communications, and it's been interesting trying to navigate this path to teaching certification while not having the experience of being an Elementary Education major. This blog is mainly meant to document my own journey, but it would be awesome if it could be resource for anyone else trying to transition into teaching after earning their bachelors degree in another discipline, or from another career. I'll write more on why I'm becoming a teacher, my student teaching experiences, and overall goals
